If there is one recipe on this site that you try – please, please, please let it be this masterpiece of a chutney.

The original Tomato Chutney recipe came from my Mother In Law who’s been supplying us with jars of the stuff for years.

The recipe as it now was a natural progression of my own laziness.  See, we used to dice and roast vegetables for sandwiches and wraps but I got sick of the constant work.

So I combined the two and made a massive batch of this freaking amazing Chunky Vegetable & Tomato Chutney which is now a staple in our house!!!!

The Very Best Chunky Vegetable & Tomato Chutney


Fry gently in a large stock saucepan until tender.
Combine with the vegetables and simmer for 30 minutes.
