This recipe is a huuuuuuuge hit in our household.  Our 1 year old loves it so much, he’ll eat just as much as I do.

It stores really well in the freezer – I usually freeze it before the baking step.

And when Cypress was younger and just starting on solids, I would form this recipe into fingers for him to munch on.

Lentil Loaf | With Secret Veggies



  1. Oven to 180.
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and use a potato masher to mash them together until the beans have broken down and combined.
  2. Form the mixture into a loaf shape on a lined baking tray.
  3. Bake until the outside is crunchy. Poke a knife into the middle of the loaf to check if it's warm inside before serving.
